Our framed portraits are professionally
double-matted and wood framed, protected by a sheet of UV screening
acrylic or glass. We work with a selection of hand chosen frames and
archival materials to ensure lasting beauty and allow us to offer a
lifetime warranty.
Alternatively, you may choose the very
popular "open" frame without matting, so that the portrait
fills the frame and there is no glass or acrylic to cause reflections.
In this case, the portrait itself is coated with a protective laquer
spray.
Another option is
to have your portrait mounted on real stretched artist's
canvas before it is framed. This gives the look and feel of a classic
art piece, and is considered by some to be the ultimate photographic
finish.
Full attention is given to details like
sealing the twisted ends of the hangar wire to prevent injury, sealing
the back of the (matted) frame to avoid dust, and affixing frame corner
wall protector bumpers.
All framed portraits over 8x10 inches are
signed by the artist.
To help you select your frame and mat,
we use an exciting new computer program . With this program, you can
get to see what your favourite image will look like in any of over 100
frame and mat combinations.
